Hudson Valley's men's lacrosse student-athlete Darren Nagy (Saurgerties/Saurgerties) was named the NJCAA Region 3 Male Athlete of the Week for men's lacrosse.

Nagy has led the Vikings to a 2-1 start with wins over Union County College and Ocean County College. The Vikings are currently ranked No. 10 in the latest NJCAA national poll. Nagy guided the Vikings to a 6-4 win at Ocean, scoring three goals, including two of the final four Vikings goals to secure the win.
