Kyle Constanty (Beekmantown/Plattsburgh) of the Hudson Valley Community College hockey team (7-10-1) earned Region 3 Athlete of the Week honors on Tuesday afternoon.
Constanty had a solid performance during the Vikings two victories last week over SUNY Broome and Middlebury JV. Constanty was the leading scorer in the game against Broome, recording four of his five goals and two assists in the first period. Constanty also contributed 3 assists in the win over Middlebury JV.
After Constanty's stellar performance last week, he has a total of 12 goals this season, ranking him second in Region 3.
The hockey team travels to Mohawk Valley on Wednesday at 7:30 p.m.
