The Hudson Valley Community College hockey team (5-10-1) lost to Erie Community College (14-3-1) 3-1 on Monday afternoon.
The Vikings only goal came from Sean Spohr (Westfield/Westfield, MA) halfway through the first period. Nate Muller (BFA/Highgate, VT) played the entire game in goal, recording 39 saves.
The men travel to Broome on Thursday for a game at 7 p.m.
