The Hudson Valley Community College men's golf team were unlucky at the Adirondack Invitational on Saturday afternoon at Brookhaven GC as they had to play in wet, windy conditions when the weather changed drastically from the perfect golf weather earlier in the morning.

The Vikings did not put-up great numbers, but they battled through the elements and found their way to produce a respectable 365 team score and placed third for its third straight tournament. Leading the way individually for the Vikings was Jonathan Reynolds, who posted a team-best score 86 through 18 holes. Joshua Carr joined Reynolds as the only two Vikings to break 90 on the day.

Cameron France and Josiah Howard posted a 93 and 97, respectively to round out the overall team scoring. Nevin Wilkie tallied a 103 and Owen Hampson finished with a 106. Matthew Valoze posted a 97 as he participated in the event as an individual.

There is no rest for the golf team as they are back in action tomorrow, Sunday, April 21st as they compete at the Mohawk Valley Invitational at the Oneida Golf Course in Oneida, NY.
