Golf Competes at Adirondack Invitational

The Hudson Valley Community College golf program participated in the 2019 SUNY Adirondack Invitational, hosted by Adirondack on Saturday, April 27. The Vikings finished fourth with a final score of 345.

Cole Stannard (Coxsackie/Coxsackie-Athens) finished with the best individual score for the Vikings men's golf program as he finished the 18-hole tournament tied for eighth place with an 80.

Nathan Fankhanel (Clifton Park/Shenendehowa) continues to play well this season for Hudson Valley. As one of the most improved players from a season ago, Fankhanel finished the day with an 85.  Anthony Bisognano (Colonie/Colonie) also finished under 90 as he posted a final round score of 89. 

Nick Schrowang (Catskill/Catskill) rounds out the Vikings scoring as he recorded a round score of 91. Max Conti finished with a 114. 

Omsalama Ayoub (Albany/Doane Stuart) continues to show improvement as she recorded a 178 for the women's golf team. 

The golf program is back in action tomorrow as they host the Hudson Valley Invitational at Frear Park on Sunday, April 28.
