Golf’s Schrowang Concludes Play at Nationals

NJCAA National Results

Hudson Valley Community College men's golf student-athlete Nick Schrowang finished all four rounds of the 2018 NJCAA National Championship Tournament, hosted by Jamestown Community College in Chautaugua, N.Y. Schrowang finished with an overall 72-hole score of 354 (+66).

Schrowang's best round came in the final day of the tournament as he finished with an 83 (+11). Nick became the first men's golf student-athlete at Hudson Valley to qualify for the national tournament as an individual.

The men's golf program concluded its inaugural season as an official varsity sport at Hudson Valley in 2018.

Tompkins Cortland's Daniel Lapp won the individual title following a 4-under 68 in the final round to secure the championship title. Vincennes (IN) captured the team championship title, their third championship in program history.
