Hudson Valley Community College men's golf team participated in the Genesee Community College Invitational at the Batavia Country Club on Sunday, May 6, 2018.

As a team, the Vikings placed tied for fourth place as they all finished with a final score of 331. Niagara won the event with a team score of 318.

Kyle Young (Rotterdam/Mohonasen) earned a top-five finish as he tied for fifth place with an individual score of 78. Tompkins-Cortland's Dan Lapp took home the individual champion plaque with a final round score of 70.

The Vikings are back in action on Monday, May 14 for the two-day NJCAA Region 3 tournament at the Elm Tree Golf Course in Cortland, NY.
