First Season at HVCC: 2019-20
Enters 6^th season in 2024-25; 1^st as Head Coach

Chris Claus enters his sixth year at Hudson Valley and his first season as the head coach of the Vikings men’s and women’s bowling program.

Coach Claus previously served as an assistant coach for the men’s and women’s bowling program and helped guide the program to three Mountain Valley Conference Championships in 2020, 2023 and 2024. Coach Claus also played an instrumental role in the men’s bowling program winning its eighth Region 3 championship (first since 2012) in 2020.

Over the years, Coach Claus coached the Green Island Junior Bowling program from 1987-1998, the Hometown Junior Bowling Program from 2013-2017 and the Hometown Girls Travel League from 2014-1017, which produced numerous NCAA Division I and Division III student-athletes.

Coach Claus was inducted into the Troy Bowling Association in 2016.
