Bowling Placed 5th at Westchester Classic

The Hudson Valley Community College bowling program closed out a busy weekend, where they competed in three straight matches, at the Westchester Classic and the Spins Bowl Lanes in Carmel, NY.

Parker Brown continued to bowl well as he medaled once again after placing fourth in the All Events standings with a total pin score of 1,131. Brown completed a high-game of 209 in the second match of the day, which helped him finish fifth overall in the men's singles portion of the event with 574 pins.

Sean Howlan partnered with Brown in the doubles portion of the event and tallied a team score of 1,031. Howlan also placed inside the top-20 of the All Events standings, finishing 19th overall with a final score of 1,004.  Howlan placed 14th overall in the men's singles portion with a pin total of 530.

The bowling team returns to the lanes on Thursday, February 2 when they participate in the third round of the Mountain Valley Conference meets, hosted by Mohawk Valley Community College at 1 p.m.
