The Hudson Valley Community College bowling program continued its strong conference play after posting a combined score of 3,786 and finished with a 4-0 match record at the Vista Lanes in Yorkville, NY on Friday afternoon during the Herkimer Conference Match.

Sean Howlan had a strong day to lead the Vikings with a 697 series and high game of 254. Joe Minehan also had a great day for Hudson Valley as he earned a 268-high game in the second match of the afternoon.

There were many great scores by the Vikings as three individuals posted series scores of 647 series or better. Joining Howlan with a 600+ series were Minehan, who finished with a 663 series and Willis Bickford had a 647 series.

Isabella Guyer stepped up for the team and was able to put some good scores when the team needed her most. She finished with a 206 high score and a 576 series.

The bowling team is back in action this weekend as they travel to compete in the Westchester Shootout on Saturday in Fishkill, NY and the Westchester Classic on Sunday in Carmel, NY.
