Bowling Wins Fulton-Montgomery Conference Match

The Hudson Valley Community College bowling team got off to a great start in conference play with an undefeated (4-0) day at the Fulton-Montgomery conference match and are poised to compete for another Mountain Valley Conference Championship this season.

Parker Brown had a tremendous day and led the Vikings with a 719 series and newcomer Sean Howlan earned the meet's high game with a score of 277, which he recorded in the first game of the three-game match. As a team, the Vikings also earned a new high in baker games with a team score of 238, which helped them to a big team win in the first conference match of the season.

As a team, the Vikings finished with a total score of 3,690, which outpaced all other competitors by at least 450 pins.

The bowling program will return to the lanes on Friday, January 27 when they compete in the next Mountain Valley Conference match, hosted by Herkimer College in Utica, NY.
