Bowling Continues Success at Allentown

Men's Bowling is currently 17th after day one of the Lehigh Valley Classic on Dec. 29, 2019.

The men's and women's bowling programs continued their annual winter competion on Sunday as the men's team competed in the first day of the Lehigh Valley Classic and the women's program participated in the Keystone Quaker Classic in Allentown, Pa. 

The men's program remains competitive with some of the country's best four-year bowling programs as they currently sit in 17th place out of 28 programs after day one of the Lehigh Valley Classic. As a team, the Vikings posted a score of 4,443 pins. 

Leading the way for the men's program is Anthony Hurlburt (Hoosick Falls / Hoosick Falls), who is 31st overall out of 197 qualified bowlers and Jordan Nichols (Saratoga Springs/Saratoga Springs), who is currently 45thout of 197 bowlers.

The women's program is currently ninth out of 10 programs as they continue to compete short-handed. As a team, the Vikings have posted a score of 3,035 and are led by Jordan Thomas (Lake Katrine / Kingston), who sits 14th overall out of 62 qualifying bowlers. 

The Vikings are back in action tomorrow, Monday, Dec. 30 as they wrap up their respective tournaments before heading back home to Troy, NY.
