Men's bowling places seventh at Schenectady Invitational

The Hudson Valley Community College men's bowling team participated in and placed seventh at the Schenectady Invitational, hosted by Schenectady County Community College on Sunday afternoon in Schenectady, NY.

As a team, the Vikings tallied 6,489 total pins in the five-team tournament. Hudson Valley scored 4,741 pins in their single series matches and scored 1,748 pins in the baker games.

Garrett Bartlett (Brunswick/Tamarac) and Spencer McClellan (Troy/Lansingburgh) earned top-25 honors in the Schenectady Invitational. Bartlett placed 13th overall with an all-events score of 1,020 and a game-high of 231. Bartlett also recorded a 222 game in his final singles match of the tournament.

Donald Baker (Ravena/Ravena-Coeymans-Selkirk) placed 30th overall and bowled a game-high of 225 in his first game and finished with an all-events score of 933.

The men's bowling team is back on the road on Friday, Feb. 9 as they participate in the conference match hosted by SUNY Adirondack in South Glens Falls, NY.
