Men’s Bowling Places Sixth in Boulevard Classic

The Hudson Valley Community College men's bowling team participated in and placed sixth at the Boulevard Classic, hosted by Schenectady County Community College on Saturday afternoon in Schenectady, NY.

As a team, the Vikings tallied 6,994 total pins in the 21-team tournament. Hudson Valley scored 4,957 pins in their single series matches and scored 2,037 pins in the baker games.

Spencer McClellan (Troy/Lansingburgh) was the only member of the Vikings to finish inside the top-15 in the overall standings. McClellan placed 12th with a game-high of 236 and an all-events score of 1,106.

Garrett Bartlett (Brunswick/Tamarac) earned a top-25 finish as he placed 23rd overall. Bartlett recorded a game-high of 226 and an all-events score of 1,045. Bartlett also tallied a score of 212 in the baker games.

The men's bowling team is back on the road tomorrow, Sunday, Feb. 4 as they participate in the Schenectady Invitational, hosted by Schenectady County Community College.
