The Mountain Valley Conference basketball committee released the 2024 men's basketball all-conference teams, as voted on by the conference coaches on Thursday morning with Hudson Valley's Keyaton Parks (Albany/Green Tech) garnering second team recognition for his tremendous play during the regular season.

Parks has been one of the best post-players in the conference this season as he finished the year averaging 12.5 points and led the Region with 13.6 rebounds, which also ranked third nationally. Keyaton played in all 26 games with 22 starts while averaging 24.1 minutes a game. He was a dominant force in the paint as he accumulated a Region 3 leading 57 total blocks (2.2 BPG).

Keyaton and the men's basketball team qualified for the NJCAA Region 3 playoffs with an 8-17 overall record and recently defeated Columbia-Greene 97-77 to earn a spot in the quarterfinal round. The men's program is set to take on top-seed and host, Herkimer, this Friday, March 1 at 1 p.m. at Varsity Gymnasium on the campus of Herkimer.
