Men's Basketball Defeated by No. 10 Fulton-Montgomery

The Hudson Valley Community College men's basketball program dropped its Region 3 matchup 100-81 to No. 10 Fulton-Montgomery on Monday evening in Johnstown, NY.

The Vikings played the nationally-ranked Raiders even through the first half of the game as they entered the halftime break tied at 39-39. In the first half, the Vikings were led by Keyaton Parks and James Blake II, who combined to score 34 of the team's 35 first-half points.

In the second half, the Raiders shutdown Blake and Parks and the Vikings offense was evenly distributed throughout the roster. However, the Raiders pulled away, scoring 61 second half points, compared to Hudson Valley's 41 points to secure the win.

Parks finished the game with a team-high 18 points on seven made field goals and Blake add 15 points on six made field goals, including three, three-point field goals.

The men's basketball program returns home for senior night on Tuesday, February 20th as they welcome Clinton to the McDonough Sports Complex at 7 p.m. on the campus of HVCC.
