Men's Basketball Suffers Road Defeat at Mohawk Valley

The Hudson Valley Community College men's basketball program went up against a talented Mohawk Valley program and were defeated 81-61 on Thursday evening at the Jorgensen Athletic and Events Center in Utica, NY.

The Vikings trailed by nine points at the halftime break and were led by Keyaton Parks and Bo Catherwood who each scored six points in the opening half of the game. Parks finished the game with 10 points on four field goals. Leading the way for the Vikings was James Blake II, who finished with a team-high 12 points, scoring seven points in the second half of the game.

The men's program is back in action on Monday, February 12 as they travel to play No. 10 Fulton-Montgomery at 7 p.m. in Johnstown, NY.
