The Hudson Valley Community College men's basketball program ran into a tough, nationally-ranked Herkimer Generals program as they were defeated 104-60 on Wednesday evening in Herkimer, NY.

The men's team had 12 individuals score a basket in the game with Keyaton Parks leading the way with eight points as the Vikings fell behind early to the nationally-ranked Generals, entering the halftime break trailing 51-30.

As a team, the Vikings made 24 field goals and shot 7-of-20 from the free throw line in defeat. Jason Harrison, Korey Hawkins, Daniel McMahon and Bo Catherwood all tallied seven points each as the overall team scoring was spread out across the team.

Up next for the Vikings is a back-to-back road trip over the weekend as they travel to take on Corning on Saturday, Dec. 9 at 3 p.m. and later will close out the road trip with a Region 3 game at Genesee on Sunday, Dec. 10 at 2 p.m. in Batavia, NY.
