Men's Basketball Wins Big at Columbia-Greene

The Hudson Valley Community College men's basketball program won its third consecutive game after defeated Columbia-Greene 103-67 on Wednesday evening in Hudson, NY.

The Vikings jumped out early on the Twins and continued their offensive onslaught as they won their most lopsided victory on the season. Hudson Valley scored 55 points in the first half and entered the halftime break leading 55-27.

As a team, the Vikings connected on six, three-point field goals and 43 total field goals. Jourdan Belcher had a big night as he finished with a game-high 26 points on 12 field goals. Charles Bianchino finished with a career-high 17 points, which included a team-best four, three-point field goals.

Five Vikings finished with at least 13 points in the game. Trevor Green and Owen Feagles both totaled 16 points each, a career-high for Feagles. Demani Benjamin scored eight points in the second half and finished with 13 total points on six field goals made.

Hudson Valley returns to the court for critical back-to-back road games this weekend. On Saturday, the Vikings will take on Jefferson in Watertown, NY at 3 p.m. and will take on Onondaga in Syracuse on Sunday at 3 p.m.
