Hudson Valley Community College's men's basketball program dropped a close home match 88-84 to SUNY Adirondack in the McDonough Sports Complex at HVCC on Sunday afternoon.

Leading the way for the Vikings were Trevor Green and Jourdan Belcher, who combined to score 44 points, 20 rebounds four assists and four steals on the day. Demani Benjamin continued to play well as he scored 19 points on 8-of-18 shooting and added eight rebounds in 33 minutes of action.

The loss gives the Vikings its first loss as part of a back-to-back weekend on the season and they are quick to return to the court this Tuesday, January 24 when they welcome North Country to the McDonough Sports Complex at HVCC. The game is scheduled to begin around 7 p.m., following the conclusion of the women's game at 5 p.m.
