Men's Basketball Ranked 11th Following Big Weekend Wins

Hudson Valley Community College men's basketball landed in the NJCAA men's basketball rankings at No. 11 following their back-to-back wins over NJCAA top-10 programs in Corning and Genesee.
The men's basketball program (6-3) enters the national weekly rankings for the first time since December of 2018 when they were ranked seventh following a strong 8-0 start and an 11-2 record at the time of the Dec. 20th ranking.
Leading the way for the Vikings this season is sophomore Trevor Green (Lansingburgh / Troy), who is averaging 21 points per game, 9.7 rebounds, 3.0 assists and 2.6 steals this season. Most recently, he averaged 20 points and 10 rebounds in the upset wins over Corning and Genesee last weekend.
The men's basketball program is back in action tonight, Tuesday, December 13 when they welcome Rockland to the McDonough Sports Complex at 7 p.m. on the campus of Hudson Valley Community College.
