The Hudson Valley Community College men's basketball team dropped a tough road match 93-86 against Adirondack which snapped the Vikings four-game win streak in Queensbury, NY on Tuesday evening.

The Vikings got off to a slow start in their first game following the holiday break. The Vikings recovered nicely, eliminating the early deficit and eventually took the lead towards the end of the first quarter. However, the Timberwolves stayed strong and continued to match buckets with the Vikings and took a 43-39 advantage into the halftime break.

The second half was back-and-forth for the opening minutes before Adirondack pulled away to lead by as many as 12 points in the half. The Vikings continued to fight their way back but could not overcome the double-digit deficit on the road.

Leading the way for the Vikings was Trevor Green, who finished the game with a game-best 30 points. Green made nine field goals, including a pair of three-point field goals and shot 10-of-11 from the free throw line. Demani Benjamin posted 19 points and Jourdan Belcher finished the game with nine points.

Hudson Valley is off until next Wednesday, December 7 when they kick off a four-game home stand. Hudson Valley hosts nationally-ranked Herkimer on Dec. 7 at the McDonough Sports Complex at 7 p.m.
