The Hudson Valley men's basketball was defeated by No. 2 ranked Mohawk Valley 100-76 on Sunday afternoon inside the McDonough Sports Complex on the campus of Hudson Valley Community College.
The loss to the nationally-ranked Hawks snaps the Vikings eight game winning streak and extends their current winless streak against the Hawks to 13 straight games. The Vikings last victory against the Hawks came on Feb. 2, 2013 by the score of 74-66.
Leading the way for the Vikings was freshman Brandon McKenly, who finished the game with a team-high 15 points. Zach Price also reached double-figures, hitting three, three-point field goals on his way to 12 total points.
The Vikings are on the road tomorrow, Monday, February 17 as they head north to take on North Country at 7 p.m. in Saranac, NY.
