Hudson Valley Community College men's basketball started the 2019 season with a 80-74 road win at Cayuga on Saturday afternoon in Auburn, NY.
The Vikings were led by freshman Iziah Pigott (Brooklyn/Urban Assembly for Law & Justice)and sophomore Will Aybar (Albany/Colonie), who each recorded a double-digit scoring game. Pigott finished the game with a team-high 13 points, including a pair of three-point field goals. Aybar earned most of his points at the free throw line as he finished 7-of-8 on the free shots.
The Vikings return to action for their home opener against Jefferson on Friday, Nov. 8 at 8 p.m. in the McDonough Sports Complex on the campus of Hudson Valley Community College.
