Hudson Valley's men's basketball team (20-5) have hit their stride and extended their win streak to six straight games after defeating Columbia-Greene 81-75 on Wednesday evening in Hudson, NY. 

Caleb Canty (Hudson/Hudson) and O'Nandi Brooks (Brooklyn/George Westinghouse) have continued to bring their best game for the Vikings as the duo combined to score 56 points. Canty finished with a game-high 32 points, marking the fifth time this season he has surpassed the 30-point plateau. During the six-game win streak, Canty is averaging 23.6 points per game. 

Brooks tallied 24 points and is averaging 19.8 points per game during the Vikings streak. O'nandi extended his personal streak of scoring at least 10 points or more in every game this season (25). 

Willy Aybar (Albany/Colonie) came on strong in the second half of the game and finished with 12 points on five field goals made. 

Hudson Valley has a tough home game this Saturday, February 16 as they welcome No. 3 ranked Mohawk Valley to the McDonough Sports Complex. The game is schedule for 1 p.m. and can be watched live on the Vikings Broadcast Network at athletics.hvcc.edu.
