Hudson Valley's men's basketball team (17-5) won their third game in a row after defeating Schenectady at home on Saturday afternoon in the McDonough Sports Complex. 

Caleb Canty (Hudson/Hudson) led the Vikings with 19 points and added four rebounds and two steals. Canty continued to put pressure on Schenectady's defense all game long and as a result, he reached the foul line 13 times in the game.

O'Nandi Brooks (Brooklyn/George Westinghouse) had a big game for the Vikings with a double-double as he finished with 15 points and 16 rebounds and a career-best eight blocks. 

Willy Aybar (Albany/Colonie) and Avery Deas (Rotterdam/Mohonasen) combined to score 25 points with Deas totaling 14 points with eight rebounds and three blocks. Aybar had 11 points and six assists. 

Hudson Valley is back home this Wednesday, February 6 as they welcome Clinton to the McDonough Sports Complex. The game is scheduled to begin at 7 p.m.
