Hudson Valley's men's basketball team (14-4) snapped their two-game losing streak as they defeated Dutchess 74-67 on the road on Thursday evening. 

Caleb Canty (Hudson/Hudson) continued to play well for the Vikings and finished with a team-high 22 points. Canty has now scored over 20 points in seven of his last eight games. 

O'Nandi Brooks (Brooklyn/George Westinghouse) had a strong second half as he scored all of his 15 points following the break. Willy Aybar (Albany/Colonie) followed up his career night on Monday with another 10 points and a pair of three-point field goals in tonight's win. 

Hudson Valley returns home this weekend to play No. 2 ranked Herkimer on Saturday, January 26 at 1 p.m. In their previous meeting, the Vikings defeated Herkimer 102-72 on the road on November 10.
