Men's Basketball Falls to No. 3 Mohawk Valley

Hudson Valley's men's basketball team (13-3) was defeated on the road at No. 3 Mohawk Valley 75-69 in a hard-fought battle between two nationally ranked programs in Utica, NY.
Caleb Canty (Hudson/Hudson) led the Viking offense with a team-high 25 points, marking the sixthstraight game Canty surpassed the 20-point mark and now has now reached 20-points or more in nine games this season.
O'Nandi Brooks (Brooklyn/George Westinghouse) finished with 13 points with six made field goals and Brandon Holmes added 19 points, which included four made three-point field goals.
Hudson Valley returns to the court on Monday, January 21 as they welcome Fulton-Montgomery to the McDonough Sports Complex at 7 p.m. The game was originally scheduled for Saturday, but it has been rescheduled to Monday with the inclement weather forecasted for the weekend.
