Hudson Valley's men's basketball team (7-0) remains undefeated after defeating Ulster 97-88 on Tuesday evening in the McDonough Sports Complex.

Caleb Canty (Hudson/Hudson) had a strong night as he led the Vikings with 28 points on 11-for-18 from the floor. Canty also accumulated four rebounds, five assists and two steals to keep the Vikings rolling by their opponents this season.

Josiah McCall (Beacon/Beacon) provided the extra energy off the bench and finished with 16 points on 7-for-12 from the floor in 14 minutes of game action. O'nandi Brooks (Brooklyn/George Westinghouse) hit six field goals and finished with 15 points and also recorded a double-double by grabbing 10 rebounds in the win.

Jordan Gleason (Wynantskill/Watervliet) and Brandon DeGrasse (Bronx/E.A. Reynolds Westside) both scored double-digit scoring as the duo combined for 27 points, 14 rebounds, five assists and two steals.

The Vikings had their best game of the season against a quality opponent in an Ulster squad that qualified for the NJCAA Division-2 National Tournament a season ago.

Hudson Valley returns home on Thursday, November 29 as they take on Orange at 7 p.m.
