O'nandi Brooks Named Region 3 Player of the Week

Hudson Valley’s men’s basketball student-athlete O’nandi Brooks (Brooklyn/George Westinghouse) has been named the NJCAA Region 3 Men’s Basketball Player of the Week as announced by Region 3.

Brooks led the Vikings to a 2-0 record this week, including a convincing 30-point win on the road at No. 4 ranked Herkimer on Saturday. O'nandi posted the first of two double-doubles scoring 25 points and grabbing 10 rebounds against Herkimer and came back on Sunday with 25 points and 16 rebounds against Jefferson.

 The Vikings men’s basketball program is off to a great start as Brooks leads the high-octane offense with a 4-0 record this season. Brooks currently leads the Vikings in scoring with 21.3 points per game. 

Hudson Valley is on the road tonight as they travel to play Adirondack at 6 p.m.
