Hudson Valley Community College men's basketball (10-15) dropped their third consecutive game after Mohawk Valley defeated the Vikings 83-56 on Saturday afternoon in Utica, N.Y.

Mitchel Dame (Niskayuna/Niskayuna) led the Vikings offense in the first half by scoring all 10 of his points in the first 20 minutes of the game as Hudson Valley entered the halftime break Mohawk Valley 41-35.

In the second half, Dave Reo (North Greenbush/Catholic Central) took over the offensive output for the Vikings as he scored 12 of his team-high 17 points after the break. As a team, the Vikings struggled to find baskets and scored only 21 points in the final 20 minutes of the game.

The men's basketball team is on the road on Monday, Feb. 19 as they travel to play North Country Community College at 7 p.m.
