Men's Basketball Wins Six Straight Games!

Hudson Valley Community College men's basketball (10-12) has continued to play team basketball and has now won their sixth straight game after defeating Clinton 83-60 on Thursday evening in Plattsburgh, N.Y.

The Vikings entered the half with a 39-32 advantage before they outscored Clinton 44-28 in the final half to secure their season-high sixth straight win. Dave Reo (North Greenbush/Catholic Central) led three Vikings in double-digits with 17 points (6-for-11) and three rebounds.

Taylor Slattery (Moriah/Moriah) and Brandon Degrasse (Bronx/E.A. Reynolds) also scored in double-figures for Hudson Valley. Slattery finished with 15 points, four rebounds and four assists in 26 minutes. Degrasse recorded a double-double with his 16 points and 10 rebounds.

The Vikings scored 20 points off the bench and were led by Raheem Duncan's (Queens/Green Tech) eight bench points. Duncan also recorded seven rebounds and had two blocks.

The men's basketball team back home on Saturday, Feb. 10 as they go for their seventh straight win against North Country at 1 p.m.
