Men's Basketball Falls at TC3 73-66

Hudson Valley Community College men's basketball (4-8) dropped its match 73-66 at Tompkins Cortland Community College on Sunday afternoon.

As a team, the Vikings 41.7% from the floor, including 28.6% from behind the arc and 58.8% from the free-throw line. Sean Webb (Harlem/Hospitality Mgt.) led the Vikings in scoring as he finished with 15 points on 4-for-12, including 3-for-7 from behind the three-point line. Webb also tallied four rebounds, three assists before fouling out with five fouls.

Sean Degraffenreid's (Scotia/Scotia-Glenville), Elijah Nisbett (Schenectady/Schenectady), Dave Reo (North Greenbush/Catholic Central) and Mitchell Dame (Niskayuna/Niskayuna) all finished with eight points each.

The Vikings scored 30 points in the paint and have 16 points off of Tompkins-Cortland turnovers, but they were outpaced in fast break points as the Panthers finished with a 10-2 advantage.

The men's program is now off until the beginning of the new year as they travel to face Columbia-Greene Community College on Tuesday, Jan. 9 at 7 p.m.
