The Hudson Valley Community College men's basketball team (3-5) fell on the road to Orange Community College 82-72 on Thursday evening.

The Vikings had three student-athletes surpass double-digit scoring as Justus Simon (Troy/Green Tech) finished with a team-high 12 points with Simon scoring 10 points in the second half.

Mitchell Dame (Niskayuna/Niskayuna) and Sean Degraffenreid (Glenville/Scotia-Glenville) also scored in double-figures for the Vikings. Dame finished with 11 points with five field goals made, including a free throw. Degraffenreid scored all 10 of his points in the second half.

Josh Mitchell and Justin Feldman combined for 39 points for the Broncos. Mitchell led all scorers with 22 points and Feldman finished with 17 points.

The men's program is back home this weekend as they welcome Finger Lakes on Saturday, Dec. 2 at 3 p.m. and Corning on Sunday, Dec. 3 at 2 p.m.
