Men's Basketball Dominates in 95-65 Win

Hudson Valley Community College men's basketball (3-2) played a complete game tonight as the Vikings defeated Adirondack 94-65 at McDonough Sports Complex.

The Vikings were led offensively by Mitchell Dame (Niskayuna/Niskayuna) as he scored a game-high 26 points, with 18 points coming in the first half of the game. Dame was the only Vikings member to surpass double-digit scoring. Brandon Degrasse (Bronx/E.A. Reynolds) added nine points, as the Vikings second leading scorer.

As a team, Hudson Valley put together their best game of the season as 13 different Vikings scored at least three points or more on the night. Antoine Johnson (Watervliet/Watervliet) added eight points and Dave Reo (North Greenbush/Catholic Central) chipped in seven points tonight.

The men's program hits the road now as they will play their first of three straight road games on Sunday, Nov. 19 at Schenectady Community College at 3 p.m. The men's team does not return home until Saturday, Dec. 2 to face Finger Lakes at 3 p.m.
