The Hudson Valley Community College men's basketball team (10-6) defeated Suffolk County Community College (3-8) 83-75 on Saturday afternoon.
Despite being down by five at the end of the first, the Vikings secured their fourth straight victory with a huge 53 point second half.
Kevin Lenehan (Duanesburg/Delanson) led Hudson Valley with 24 points, 20 of which he scored during the second. Dave Reo (Catholic Central/North Greenbush) shot a perfect 7-7 from the free-throw line, adding 16 in the win.
The men travel to #8 Mohawk Valley on Thursday for a game at 7 p.m.
