The Hudson Valley Community College men's basketball team (3-4) defeated Schenectady County Community College (0-7) 116-101 on Sunday afternoon.
At the end of the first half, the Vikings held a commanding 59-38 lead over Schenectady. Hudson Valley was able to maintain the lead in the second half bringing home their second straight win.
Kevin Lenehan (Duanesburg/Delanson) led the Vikings with 44 points, setting a new Hudson Valley record for most points in a single game. Dave Reo (Catholic Central/North Greenbush) added 27 points and Brandon Palmer (Columbia/East Greenbush) contributed 13 points in the win.
The men host Ulster County on Tuesday at 7 p.m.
