The Hudson Valley Community College men's basketball team (2-4) beat SUNY Adirondack (3-3) 73-42 on Wednesday evening.
The Vikings' defense contributed to a 32-17 first half lead, and they opened the second half with eight unanswered points and continued on a 12-2 run to rout the Timberwolves. As the second half came to an end, Hudson Valley increased their lead to over 30 points, the largest win margin for the Vikings this season.
Four Vikings contributed double-digit points including
Kevin Lenehan (Duanesburg/Delanson) with 17,
Caleb Canty (Hudson/Hudson) with 13,
Brandon Palmer (Columbia/East Greenbush) with 11, and
Dave Reo (Catholic Central/North Greenbush) with 10.
The men travel to Schenectady County Community College on Sunday for a game at 3 p.m.
