Elijah Newsome (Cohoes/Cohoes) of the Hudson Valley Community College men's basketball team (14-13) earned Third-Team All-Conference honors on Friday afternoon.
Newsome is ninth in the Conference in scoring, averaging 15.6 points per game for the Vikings. He has scored 20+ points in seven games this season, with his best outing coming this past Wednesday where he recorded 29 points against Fulton-Montgomery.
The men close out their season tomorrow at home against Delhi at 3 p.m.
