The Hudson Valley Community College men's basketball team (14-13) lost to Fulton-Montgomery Community College (15-11), 82-79, on Wednesday evening.
Elijah Newsome (Cohoes/Cohoes) led the Vikings with 29 points and was a perfect 14 for 14 at the free-throw line. Garrett Pitcher (Berne-Knox-Westerlo/East Berne) recorded 13 points, and Brendan Archer (Schoharie/Sloansville) added 12 in the loss.
The men host Delhi on Saturday at 3 p.m. in their season finale.
