The Hudson Valley Community College men's basketball team (8-4) lost to Clinton Community College (4-7), 68-65, on Thursday afternoon.
The Vikings fell behind early and could never make up the ground. Elijah Newsome (Cohoes/Cohoes) led the Vikings with 24 points, and Brendan Archer (Schoharie/Sloansville) added 14 in the losing effort.
The men travel to North Country on Saturday for a game at 3 p.m.
