The Hudson Valley Community College men's basketball team (7-1) defeated SUNY Adirondack (4-1), 76-73, on Wednesday evening.
Elijah Newsome (Cohoes/Cohoes) led the Vikings with a game-high 24 points, converting on 14 of 16 free throw attempts. Brendan Archer (Schoharie/Sloansville) recorded 12 points, and Imre Megyeri (Troy/Troy) added 10 points in the win.
The men travel to Schenectady on Sunday for a game at 3 p.m.
