The Hudson Valley Community College men's basketball team (2-0) defeated Ulster County Community College (0-3), 81-70, on Thursday evening.
The Vikings opened up a 20-point lead in the second half and cruised to an 11-point victory. Haseeb Kaurejo (Shaker/Sacramento, CA) led the Vikings with 17 points, and Valdon Baptiste (MLK Brooklyn/Brooklyn) added eight in the win.
The Vikings host Cayuga on Saturday at 3 p.m.
