The Hudson Valley Community College men's basketball team (7-7) defeated Fulton-Montgomery Community College (4-10), 71-69, on Saturday afternoon.
Fulton-Montgomery rallied late in the second half, but the Vikings were able to hold on for the win. Devonte Gleason (Watervliet/Watervliet) and Elijah Newsome (Cohoes/Cohoes) led the Vikings with 13 points each. Nate Monson (Cohoes/Cohoes) and Errico Feaster (Arlington/Poughkeepsie) each chipped in 10 points in the win.
The men host #4 SUNY Delhi on Wednesday at 7 p.m.
