The Hudson Valley Community College men's basketball team (6-5) defeated North Country Community College (7-6), 75-71, on Saturday afternoon.
Devonte Gleason (Watervliet/Watervliet) led the Vikings with 17 points, and Elijah Newsome (Cohoes/Cohoes) and David Suski (Loudonville Christian/Schenectady) each added 15. Simon Ohanian (Protestant Francais/Beirut, Lebanon) and Haseeb Kaurejo (Shaker/Sacramento, CA) came off the bench to contribute nine points each in the win.
The men travel to Columbia-Green on Tuesday for a game at 6 p.m.
