The Hudson Valley Community College men's basketball team (5-4) defeated Broome Community College (7-6), 92-65, on Saturday afternoon.
Devonte Gleason (Watervliet/Watervliet) filled out the stat line to lead the Vikings with 21 points, six rebounds, five steals and four assists. Elijah Newsome (Cohoes/Cohoes) had a season-high 15 points, and Codi Gorman (Shaker/Latham) added 12 in the lopsided victory.
The men host Clinton on Thursday at 2 p.m.
