The Hudson Valley Community College men's basketball team (2-1) lost to Herkimer County Community College (4-1), 86-70, on Saturday afternoon.
Casey Hall (Shaker/Albany) led the Vikings with 15 points and five rebounds, and Matt Walker (Benjamin Banneker/Brooklyn) came off the bench to add 12 points in the loss.
The Vikings host their first game of the season on Wednesday against Adirondack at 7 p.m.
