The Hudson Valley Community College men's basketball team (20-12) lost to SUNY Delhi (28-4) 69-48 in the semifinals of the regional tournament on Saturday afternoon.
Hudson Valley fell behind early and could never make up the difference. The Broncos shot the ball well from the outside, while the Vikings struggled shooting the ball. Jose Reyes (Shenendehowa/Clifton Park) led the Vikings with 17 points, and Brandon Dean (Flagler Palm Coast/Bunnell, FL) added 14 in the loss. Dean was also named to the All-Tournament after averaging 18.0 points in the two games.
Delhi will play Herkimer tomorrow in the Championship game.
