Jose Reyes (Shenendehowa/Clifton Park) earned National Player of the Week honors, one day after receiving Region III Player of the Week honors for the second consecutive week. Reyes averaged a double-double in two games, averaging 15.0 points and 12.5 assists. 63% of the team's total offense came from Reyes, during a week in which the Vikings upset #6 nationally ranked SUNY Delhi. He tallied a career high 14 assists against Schenectady, and went 5-11 (45.4%) from behind the arc in the two games.
Reyes ranks seventh in the Region in scoring with 15.4 points per game, and first in the Region in assists averaging 7.5 per game. The Vikings finish up the regular season tonight against #6 Herkimer on, before heading to Regionals the following week.
