The Hudson Valley Community College men's basketball team (17-10) defeated Columbia-Greene Community College (9-14) 71-47 on Thursday evening.
Hudson Valley opened up a big lead in the second half, led by four Vikings who scored in double-digits. Jose Reyes (Shenendehowa/Clifton Park) led the team with 20 points, and Giacomo Giglio (Catholic Central/Glenmont) added 17, including five three-pointers. Jeremy Taylor (Catskill/Catskill) recorded 16 points for the second straight game, and Nate Krimsky (Berne Knox/Berne) chipped in 11 in the win.
The men host SUNY Delhi on Saturday in their last home game of the year beginning at 3 p.m.
